Matthew W. Marchbanks is a Senior Vice President and Group Manager for Comerica Bank. Joining in 2001, Marchbanks completed Comerica’s Commercial Banking Training Program and served in Comerica’s North Dallas Market as a Relationship Manager for 9 years. Through his 23-year tenure, Marchbanks held a variety of leadership roles, assuming additional responsibilities of Sales Manager and Alternate Group Manager. In 2010, Marchbanks relocated to Fort Worth, leading Comerica’s growth into the Tarrant County Market. Marchbanks led the growth and establishment of a Business Banking franchise in Tarrant County while coordinating many of the market-based activities. In January 2013, Marchbanks returned to Dallas in his current position of Senior Vice President / Group Manager, leading the Commercial Banking activities of the DFW West and South Florida Groups.
Marchbanks earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. Additionally, Marchbanks has completed leadership programs and has been actively involved in civic organizations, local boards and community-based activities.
