Renée McKeon Rives is the Head of Design for the Financial Services Division of Capital One. In her role, Renée is part of the leadership teams of Financial Services as well as Experience Design. Renée has been with Capital One since December 2017, where she has focused on building iconic customer experiences that change car ownership for good. She is passionate about creating great teams and great work while having fun, having a heart, and having faith in people along the way.
Renée earned her BS in Journalism from the University of North Texas. Renée has more than 25 years of experience, both in leading teams and creating human-centered, strategic work. Throughout her career she has worked on iconic brands including Coke, Huggies, People Magazine, Starwood Hotels, Wells Fargo, Prilosec, Secret, Olay, World Vision, Pizza Hut, M&M/Mars, 7-Eleven, and Saab.
She and her husband, Justin, are parents to four amazing people and one very large dog. She loves spending time with family, reading, cooking, making things, and enjoying nature. If you need a good book recommendation, hit her up!
