Sapna is passionate about applying technology to solve business needs. She leads a global team of more than 700 technology professionals charged with enabling post-sales transformation for Business Customer Service & Operations (CS&O) functions through process optimization, technology enablement, data analytics and ServiceNow platform implementation. She has more than 20 years’ experience managing complex processes and leading enterprise-scale technology implementations that drive long-term, customer-centric business transformation. 

Prior to her current role, she led a team responsible for Data Supply Chain in the Chief Data Office, driving platform and tools development. She spearheaded strategic initiatives to make data more accessible and usable, resulting in faster data insights and higher reuse. Sapna also was an integral part of the team that originally developed AT&T’s API and microservices platform, significantly advancing AT&T’s corporate API strategy. She led the technology team that delivered large-scale business solutions on these platforms, including the launch of the first iPhone and iPad. 

A holder of three patents, Sapna was honored in 2014 with a Women of Color STEM Award for her outstanding technical contributions. In addition, some of the innovations she has been part of have led to significant recognition for AT&T, including a CIO Award. Sapna is passionate about building a pipeline of next-generation technology talent that includes individuals from diverse backgrounds. She currently serves as executive sponsor for the APAC Engagement Zone, leads a Connection Circle in AT&T Business and serves as a Mentoring Circle Lead in the OASIS Employee Resource Group.

Sapna earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Delhi University in India and an Executive MBA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Puneet, and two children. She is a co-founder of Shiksha Sankalp, a non-profit organization devoted to educating underprivileged kids. She volunteers with Girl Scouts and enjoys music, traveling and binge-watching thriller series.
