Spencer Traver

Director of Marketing @ Sustainment

After spending the past 7 years with a fast-growing Adtech company that grew from a startup to $1.5b valuation, he recently pivoted to an Austin-based SaaS startup servicing the manufacturing industry. Sustainment completed a successful Series A round ($12m) in 2022, and the company continues to make significant progress on product development for its commercial, federal, and defense customers.

They’re focused on accelerating product-market fit via their marketing investment, and Spencer is thrilled to have the opportunity to lead those efforts in a fully remote role. As the head of Sustainment’s marketing operations, his job today is to help lay the foundation for the marketing function–establishing frameworks to help advance the team’s efforts and connect with a massive, industrial market.

Outside of Sustainment, Spencer serves on multiple advisory boards and committees, including: Dallas Startup Week (The DEC Network), Create Fort Worth, and TCU’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As volunteer work in the entrepreneurial community, he provides bi-monthly, no-cost marketing workshops for startup leaders and entrepreneurs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area hosted at Create Fort Worth. He also enjoys public speaking and podcast opportunities, as he’s had the privilege of speaking at various events such as UNT HSC’s Innovate Fort Worth podcast, engagements within the TCU community, and more.
