Monika comes with 15 years of experience at Citigroup, developing and implementing Enterprise level data initiatives in areas of data governance, data architecture, data quality, etc. Her experience has primarily been in consumer banking operations and real estate lending while supporting other LOBs at the bank. She has led and successfully implemented several key initiatives at the bank including regulatory, risk and compliance, automating time consuming operational business processes in mortgage collections, credit cards and KYC. Her expertise in data science with deep understanding and proficiency in Statistical and Mathematical knowledge helped develop an advanced fraud detection system using techniques that could identify and prevent fraudulent transactions in real-time with high accuracy, reducing false positives in the process by 40%.
