Aldo Maspóns, MD is the CEO/Co-Founder of VeMiDoc. He is a pediatric gastroenterologist practicing in the health provider shortage area of El Paso, TX. He has a passion for social determinants of health and understands that quality, efficiency, scalability, and population health are vital to medical outcomes. They are the drivers of healthcare sustainability. He has unique insight into how technology can be be an augmenter of care, and how physicians and healthcare systems can leverage technology to add value to their practice and improve the outcomes of their patients/members..
He obtained his B.A. and B.S at Santa Clara University, his M.D. at UT Southwestern Medical Center-Dallas, Pediatric residency in Pediatrics at University of New Mexico and his Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. He is a published author and has lectured at major academic institutions and national conferences.
