Andrew Offer is a General Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Health Development (SHD). With over 16 years of experience in medical device specific venture capital, Andrew currently serves on the board of directors of active SHD portfolio companies including Podimetrics, Mindera Health, Arctx Medical, Liberate Medical, Empirical Spine, Potrero Medical, and others. Previously, Andrew held board positions for successful investments such as Sight Sciences (Nasdaq: SGHT), Channel Medsystems, and others in addition to historically contributing as Chief Financial Officer for numerous SHD portfolio companies. Prior to joining SHD, Andrew spent more than 3 years at the consulting firm VMG Health, where he focused on business valuation exclusively in the healthcare industry. Andrew holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University, obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and serves as a mentor to the Health Wildcatters Accelerator Program.
