Antoine Long currently serves as the Economic Development Manager for the City of DeSoto, TX where his primary roles include business attraction and recruitment, retention and expansion of existing companies, and workforce development. Long has over a decade experience in economic/business development, sales, and market analytics.
Antoine is a local DeSoto High School graduate and attended Texas A&M University in College Station majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Communications and has completed several professional development courses through IEDC and University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
Last year, Antoine launched several innovative Franchise Interest Meetings to showcase DeSoto’s strong trade-area to expanding retail brands and business opportunities to local interested franchisees. These efforts have brought tremendous awareness to the market potential in DeSoto and Southern Dallas County.
