April Harmon
April Harmon is a creative entrepreneur and real estate broker. April’s work focuses on educating and implementing innovative economic development and generational dominion wealth-building strategies.
April is a Texas State University undergraduate and graduate alumni and a certified paralegal. At Texas State, she served as reorganizing Chair & President of the NAACP. Currently, April serves as the board secretary of the Texoma Family Shelter and a board trustee of the Denison Community Investment Corporation (a revolving loan fund established in 1988 to support local business growth). In April 2022, she completed a Real Estate Development intensive with TREC Community Investors, a Community Development Financial Institution. Through TREC (The Real Estate Council), April serves as a committee member of Chase Bank’s Dallas Collaborative for Equitable Development and the TREC Public Policy Committee. In addition, April has dedicated over 10,000 hours to volunteering with the youth, low-income, homeless, the elderly, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and a city election campaign.
April is most excited about leveraging art and design with technology to educate and develop commercial and residential real estate development models prioritizing socially responsible real estate practices to drive social agreement and the commonwealth of communities. April’s dream is to giveaway homes.
