Cameron Cushman, a Fort Worth native, began his career in the George W. Bush Administration in Washington, DC, serving the President for six years. He then moved to Kansas City where he worked at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation where he led several initiatives to help build entrepreneurial communities, including 1 Million Cups, a weekly educational event for entrepreneurs that is now in over 180 US cities and more than 40 international cities. He returned to Fort Worth a decade ago and worked as the VP of Sales and Marketing at PhysAssist Scribes a local medical services company. He now serves as the Director of Innovation Ecosystems at the UNT Health Science Center where he is charged with building the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Fort Worth and Tarrant County. He lives in Fort Worth with his wife and three boys.
