Thomas was the CEO of Virtual Control, which he co-founded in 2017 – a Hong Kong based startup with the mission to solve real world problems in the supply chain and compliance world by integrating AI and machine learning applications seamlessly into existing workflows. In Q1 2022, Virtual Control’s test lab business was acquired by Agilent Technologies, a market leading manufacturer of laboratory test equipment, and where Thomas currently serves as the Associate Vice President, Analytical AI/Machine Learning. Agilent provides a unique platform to launch new AI solutions that will interact with a wide spectrum of industries from biotech, life sciences, and pharma to oil & gas, specialty chemicals, and even cannabis and environmental testing. Prior to founding Virtual Control, Thomas was the Head of Strategic Market Development for Bureau Veritas, Consumer Products & Automotive Division based in Hong Kong and has spent most of his career working in Asia in various roles with a focus on commercialization. Thomas got his start in supply chain and factory management and has worked with products in range from furniture and home décor, to motorized medical products and read out integrated circuits for the US Army. Although born in New York City, Thomas grew up in Hong Kong before getting his BA from the University of Pennsylvania. Thomas has recently moved to Austin, TX and is excited to be part of the Texas startup community!

William Hurley is founder and CEO of Strangeworks, a quantum computing startup that makes the power of quantum computing easily accessible and available to all. John N. Randall, CEO of Zyvex Labs, Executive VP of Teliatry, Executive VP at NanoRetina, Adjunct Professor at UT Dallas, and Fellow of the AVS, IEEE, and Micro Nano Engineering Society, has 40 years of experience in Micro- and Nano- Fabrication. He has attracted over $45M in research contracts to Zyvex and resulting products have grossed well over $100M. He joined Zyvex in March of 2001 after 15 years at Texas Instruments where he worked in high resolution processing for integrated circuits, MEMS, and quantum effect devices. Anna Jarman is a program director for Walmart Global Tech, the engineering, data, and design arm of Walmart, Inc.  Based in Austin, Texas, Anna manages initiatives in emerging technology, innovation, and commercialization. Prior to joining Walmart, Anna was a venture investor for the corporate venture team at Royal Dutch Shell, specializing in software and data science. For 7 years, she worked in the healthcare and biotech space, with roles in surgical innovation, public policy, software development, and operations.  Anna has a MS in Analytics and a BA from Rice University.

Mohamed is founder and CEO of linedanceAI, a Dallas-based health technology startup. He is computer system engineer, specialized in machine learning and image processing. His professional experience has been focused on cognitive automation, specifically in human body movement.
