Kara Lehnert is the Special Projects and Programs Coordinator for The DEC Network. Last year, she supported the Community Navigator Program, a U.S. Small Business Administration initiative designed to help underrepresented entrepreneurs access essential resources. This year, her primary role is to manage partnerships and technical assistance within the Dallas Collaborative for Capital Access (DCCA), which aims to close the access to capital gap for underrepresented small businesses by connecting them to capital providers, free trainings, resources, and business support services to help them secure funding and grow their businesses.
