
Kristin Diaz is the co-anchor of the KRLD Afternoon News, weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. She returns to Dallas-Fort Worth, where she once worked at KDAF CW 33. Kristin spent 8 years in Corpus Christi, TX, at the TEGNA, local ABC affiliate, KIII-TV, where she most recently filled the role as Weekday Morning News Anchor and also served early in her career as the Weather Anchor and Morning Reporter. Her connection to her audience goes beyond broadcast as she has carried a strong digital following across all social media platforms and serves as emcee for various community events.
Originally from Houston, TX, Kristin grew up in the DFW area and graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor of arts in Radio/TV/Film. Kristin is the former morning show Host of North Texas NOW at North Texas Television in Denton.
She also worked at KNTU 88.1 as a DJ and News Anchor/Producer for their newscast, The Late Edition.
Her most cherished experience has been studying abroad in London, England, where she studied British Media. Kristin is a first generation Cuban- American and half Mexican-American.
