Salem is an internationally recognized expert in chemical and energy operations with 26 years of experience in corporate
management and operations in both late-stage corporations as well as early-stage start-ups. Despite being a High School dropout early in his life, he has taken every setback as an opportunity. Salem started a career in the US Navy in 1996, graduating first in his class in his nuclear training and quickly rose to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer within record time. During his 20+ year leadership career, he has
conceived and executed a series of exceptionally successful projects in nuclear plant operations, entertainment, food and beverage, as well as, managed multi-billion-dollar chemical processing facilities. More recently, he served as the CEO of Engineered Salinity, an Oil and Gas Technology start-up, taking the business through exponential growth, going from a $2 million dollar valuation to over $70 million dollar valuation in just 4 years and preparing the founding team for exit. In 2022 Salem co-authored a book on personal accountability. It is transforming the lives of business leaders, helping them to live beyond the blame, excuses, and doubts that hold them back. Most importantly, Salem is the proud husband of his beautiful wife, Soreya, and a proud father of 4 amazing children.
