Bivens’ journey to entrepreneurship began amidst challenging times, graduating from college during a recession. Undeterred, she launched her first venture in 2011, “Tainted Rose,” a fashion-based business that sparked her passion for entrepreneurship. During this time, Bivens earned her MBA and developed her skills holding several marketing roles in Corporate America, with her last role being a marketing manager for a global ed-tech corporation. Upon receiving numerous requests from colleagues and peers seeking marketing consultations, she was inspired to immerse herself in the realm of digital marketing. Drawing upon her extensive expertise in business development, branding, content creation, and sales, she founded DMM in 2019. Since then her achievements have garnered attention from notable publications such as Essence Magazine, Sheen Magazine, and Inc. Magazine. Additionally, she is an esteemed Alumnae of the Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program.
