Whitney (CEO) and Chaz (COO) Gates are the co-founders of WONDRY®, an emerging beverage brand squarely focused on disrupting the wine industry.  A true marketer at heart, Whitney has 13 years of Fortune 200 Marketing and Sales experience, dedicating her corporate career to building some of America’s beloved brands for companies such as Coca-Cola, Nestlè, Keurig Dr Pepper and General Mills. Chaz has extensive experience as a corporate attorney advising companies on key business and operational matters and, in addition to being COO of WONDRY, he currently serves as in-house counsel at Texas Instruments. Whitney and Chaz have positioned their award-winning wine collection for immediate success, gaining distribution in Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Trader Joe’s, and Total Wine in less than 2 years after launching, securing a deal with Mark Cuban on ABC’s Shark Tank, and recently signing a multi-year partnership agreement with Southern Glazer’s, the World’s leading distributor of alcoholic beverages. As WONDRY breaks wine culture convention and exceeds sales benchmarks, Whitney and Chaz look forward to representing the less than 1% of black American winemakers and opening doors for the many more to come!
