
BROOKLYN ‘BK’ AUGUSTIN
Matthew “BK” Augustin is an integral part of the Brand Partnerships & Business Development teams at FaZe Clan, the world’s largest and most prominent gaming organization known for its disruptive original content and hyper-engaged global fanbase of over 350 million combined across all social platforms. As Director of Brand & Creative Strategy, BK is responsible for
pitching ideas to our current partners or seeking out new biz opportunities and his role consists of oversight of brand and creative strategy for all brand sponsors, copywriting, project & brand management.
Prior to joining the team at FaZe Clan, BK worked for reputable ad agencies including DigitasLBi, FCB Chicago, Fitzco/McCann and 72andSunny. He touched several campaigns with brands such as Miller Lite, Sprint, Navy Federal Credit Union, Coca Cola, Fanta, Checkers/Rally’s, The NFL, Adidas, Under Armour, Activision, Blizzard, Tinder, New Biz & more.
No stranger to adversity, BK is dedicated to shining a light on the importance of diversity and inclusion. He is an active member of FaZe Clan’s Diversity Council, co-founded the organization Advertising for Change, which focuses on bringing diversity to ATL’s marketing industry, founded and served as the Global Lead of the McCann World Group Global Diversity Council, where he focused on bringing their offices across the world together while pushing for a fair and inclusive environment for all. BK is also a Board Member for The Side Show which is a network that helps creatives express their side/passion projects on a larger scale, he is also a for Monday Night Collective, which offers mentorship to young black and brown creatives trying to break through in the industry, as well as the Marcus Graham Project (MGP) which focuses on improving diversity across the marketing and advertising industries - BK volunteers weekly to help mentor the MGP boot campers.
